New Building Feb 25th, 2011
We are currently exploring our options for a new ambulance building. We have a committee assigned and are currently looking for suitable property. We have ran out of room for training, storage and crew quarters are very cramped. Stay tuned for progress updates as we move along.

Our group meets every other week throughout the school year, and in addition to our regular meetings, there will be activities with other Explorer Posts from our area. Paramedics in Broadalbin Mar 18th, 2010
The Broadalbin Volunteer Ambulance Corp. is proud to announce that we can now provide Paramedic Level Services! On a limited time basis we will be able to serve our community with Advanced Life Support (ALS). We currently have five ALS providers, two are Critical Care Technicians and three are Paramedics! Currently BVAC has four members in the Paramedic Program at SUNY Cobleskill through Bassett Hospital slated for completion in August 2010. We are very proud of the steps this agency has taken to provide a higher level of care to our community that it deserves. Some of our Paramedics who serve you come with much experience. One member is currently certified as a Paramedic in New York City, and one member has been in the profession for over 15 years with experiences on the ground and in the air. He previously worked for Response Medical as a flight paramedic in their fixed wing division. We will still rely on the Ambulance Service of Fulton County to provide ALS services when we are not able to, however, our abilities will improve as time goes on and current and future members partake in future ALS level courses!
New Ambulance Feb 24th, 2010
Broadalbin Volunteer Ambulance Corp. for the first time in its history is able to now handle two simultaneous calls! We recently placed in service a second ambulance which we purchased from North Eastern Rescue Vehicles Inc. from Ken Jones. It is a 2003 Ford F-350 4x4! This ambulance will provide our community with a better response for multiple patient motor vehicle accidents, second EMS calls, and allowing one ambulance to be dedicated to standby events such as BPHS football games! We continue to be a progressive agency and we would like to thank the community for their immense support over the years and look forward together towards the future.
